Have You Received a FEMA Recoupment Letter?

If you recently received a FEMA recoupment letter requesting repayment of benefits, please do not ignore it or it will compound the issue! Interest charges can begin after 30 days and appeals need to happen within 60 days. 

If you are a Larimer County resident who has received one of these letters, please contact our case management office 970-461-2222 for guidance and information about the appeals process. You may also call the national Recoupment Helpline 1-800-816-1122 or visit: https://www.fema.gov/faq-details/Appealing-Recoupment-decision-1370032123041 

If you are a Boulder County resident, please call your case manager in their office at 303-442-2178.
