With permanent reconstruction work underway along a section of County Road 43, damaged in last year’s flood, the weekly traffic delay schedule has been posted at www.lcr43.com, where the public can sign up for email updates.
· During the week of Nov.2-Nov.8, 1 hour delays are anticipated weekdays between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. as construction work remains focused between mile markers 7 and 10.
· Traffic queues are cleared in each direction at the top of the hour. Because the pilot car leads drivers in one direction at a time through the construction area, if you are in the second group of vehicles, you might not pass through exactly on the hour.
· Between 7 and 8 a.m. and 4 and 5 p.m., people traveling County Road 43 can expect to encounter about 30 minute delays.
The traffic delay schedule posted at www.lcr43.com can be used to make it easier to plan your trips throughout the week. Remember that construction activities are weather dependent and subject to change, so before you travel on County Road 43 you should visit www.lcr43.com to get the latest information on delays.
